About Me
Hi, I'm John. Friends call me Tupops. I've been programming professionally 20+ years. I've always been the guy with his foot in both camps, mainframe and PC.
I seldom talk about what I've done in the past programming. Most people really don't care. And those that do care, care less about what I've done in the past and more what I am capable of doing now, and in the future.
And really, it's more fun to talk about what I'm working on now. That's the reason I included my github. In the past, I used my github as a place to store information I might want later (If you look at it, you'll see things like Java Design Patterns, JavaScript Data Structures, etc).
Lately, I've been including things I'm working on now. Hosting them somewhere when I can with the exception of Java - My cPanel hosting doesn't support Java and I haven't really checked if there is any free Tomcat hosting available. I did list ChessLens though. I thought it was an interesting concept, and it's a pretty simple program. Maybe it will give someone else some ideas.
That's about it really. I enjoy programming and learning so I do both as often as possible.
